Somebody once introduced me in a class thus: "In an earlier incarnation, he used to be a business journalist for The Economic Times, India's largest selling English business daily". Now, it is debatable if i believe in the cycle of births and rebirths, but undoubtedly, writing as part of the 'Fourth Estate' in India was fun, perhaps providing me some of the best ever professional highs (till the paper slipped into the Dead Sea and got mildly drenched!).
